(Godzilla squats down and leans in, letting Loki's hands reach the lizard's neck. There's no magic where he's from, but he's seen it do all kinds of things in this world. Offensive purposes, cleaning, restoration, communing with those who cannot speak...and thus far, he hasn't met a mage he can't trust. Sure, things might be awkward at first (as it was for Sephiroth, but with the larger kaiju being a threat, it was an honest mistake), but thus far things have worked out well. A sign of trust can do a lot to win someone over.
